Hi Kylee,

Tubs are available anywhere.
NTUC, Giant & Carrefour carries them.
If you like to go for a cheaper one, can try sourcing at Togoyo Warehouse located at Blk 11, Toa Payoah Industrial Park Lor 8.

It's only worth the trip if you make bulk purchases.
It's slightly cheaper than outside and not worth making the trip down if you're getting only 1 or 2 taking transport expense into consideration.

Hello there! I'm really amazed by the way you house your hamsters. I personally don't like cages because my hamsters tend to gnaw on the wires even after i bought them wood to gnaw on. So i decided to house them the same way you do. But I dunno where to get good affordable tubs like yours. Mind helping me out? Thanks big grin

Ziling, maybe you can try using fish tanks?
It's more hardy than tubs. smile

Hi there,
I found out that many people use tubs to house their syrians but i feel that they will escape.Due to the fact that they will escape,I dare not to house my syrians with tubs. But i would also like to house them with tub as it is spacious and we can choose the size that are suitable for them.Im going to get some when i can find out a way to stop them from escaping of chewing the tubs to escape etc. So,may i know any of you guys can help me? Thanks.

Hi Theresa,

thanks for the compliment. smile
I try to use beddings that wont stick to their long fur and get entangled.
So far, breeder celect and peewee works well for me. I do add in a handful of careful ultra for them to bring into their sleeping area.

I only comb their hair once a week when i take them out for sand bath.

Hi Veron.

That's a good question. I'm unsure if those 2 are creams or yellow ghost at first.
It's hard to tell if they are cream or yellow. But cream have white flesh ears during their initial stage of birth while yellow ghost have very dark ears as early as 3 days old.

Creams will only have their ears darken from 2-3 weeks onwards.
I've an older yellow ghost which looks like cream and he have produce wonderful litter of tortoiseshells & yellows. He look pretty much like cream during the earlier stage of birth and could only tell that he's a yellow ghost from the dark ears.

However, he's about 5months old now and have black tickings at the tip of the fur.
He definitely carry the yellow genes. big grin

since the appearence of young with the Yellow gene at such times is often the only indication that there is "invisible" Yellow in the Self animals.but it doesnt mean tht way for urs right? as cream also looks like the invisible yellow too only as time pass then it would darken.

Welcome
